Woodward Avenue loft with rooftop deck tries for $398K

It’s been a long, cold winter in Detroit, but the real estate market is starting to heat up. Case in point: a new loft listing boasts a super-centralized location, an industrial interior, and a rooftop deck. The price per square foot is higher than what we’ve seen for nearby properties, aside from the brand new condos at the Selden (selling for $400-450 per square foot). Some lofts and condos in Brush Park have managed to snag $350 per square foot this past year. The Walker Lofts sit across from Brush Park (right across from New Order Coffee and near the Scott at Brush Park). At 1,000 square feet, this loft is listing for $398,000, or $398 per square foot.

This loft has a huge chef’s kitchen, a blue-tiled bathroom with two showers for some reason, and a spiral staircase leading up to a rooftop deck. Also find exposed brick, hardwood floors, and exposed duct work. It’s just a few blocks from the new arena, right in between downtown and Midtown. It’s listed through O’Connor Real Estate.
