Welcome to Curbed Comparisons, where we look at different homes in various neighborhoods all within the same price range. This week, we’re hitting the road and including homes in both Detroit and the suburbs. We’re looking at houses within $10,000 of our price range: $280,000. Which would you choose? It’s near Eleven Mile, Royal Oak, and 696 and it’s listing for $284,000.

1315 Cadieux Road, Grosse Pointe Park

And in Grosse Pointe Park, this brick ranch has three bedrooms and two baths over 1,520 square feet. This house has an open kitchen/dining area, a fireplace, a lofty bedroom, new tiling in the master bathroom, storage in the basement, and a decent backyard. It’s close to many shops and restaurants on the east side, and it’s listing for $279,900.
